Basement finish with custom built-ins - Cincinnati (January 2026)
This Cincinnati basement finish turned an underused lower level into real everyday living space, built around how the family wanted to work and hang out downstairs.
The anchor of the project is a custom built-in desk and cabinet wall that runs the full front of the room - drawers, cabinets, and bookshelves tuned for storage and a dedicated work surface. We finished the basement with new tile flooring (including the laundry area), drywall, paint, a fireplace refresh, finished stairs and railing, and the electrical needed to support the new layout.
