How we arrived at these prices?
The prices above are compiled from past bathroom and kitchen remodels that New Leaf completed in 2020 in and around the Cincinnati area. We averaged out all of the projects we completed to get these numbers. We broke down the profit/loss for our 2020 projects to get the cost on the contractor side. This means that the price calculated above insures that the contractor/company makes a comfortable profit to stay in business and the customer receives a great finished product at the best value.
These aren’t set in stone prices, they should be taken as guidance, not as rule. All bathroom and kitchen projects are different. For example, your bathroom or kitchen maybe much smaller than the average, therefore pushing the price down. It could be a lot bigger and feature more custom work that pushes the price above the average calculated. You also have to consider design. If you choose a “Design Build Company”, simply add 20-35% on to our average pricing on bathrooms and kitchens.
Be On The Lookout!
Lookout for major red flags during the estimating process such as a contractor or company providing a substantially low estimate. It is practically impossible for a contractor to make money off of a bathroom or kitchen if their estimate is substantially lower than our average prices above. This leads to shoddy craftsmanship, sketchy workers in your home or the contractor ghosts you all together after you accept and place a deposit.
