1 Why do we charge you for a quote?

We are always transparent about our pricing, unlike other companies who bury the “Free Estimate” charge inside the price of the project. New Leaf’s service charge for in-person estimates is upfront.

What a lot of customers don’t understand about “free” estimates is usually the company hides the price of your estimate and others (who declined their proposed estimates) into the cost of the customer’s project who does accept.

This happens because that company or contractor has to make up the cost of travel, time, and basic business expenses to cover the cost of free estimates for the customers who declined. This is unfair to loyal customers. Over time this drives up the price for service in the entire industry.

2 What is the timeline for the project?

Once you confirm that the E-Quote price is within your budget, we schedule a an in-home consultation, typically within a week, where we learn more about your project, take measurements and photos so we can get a better understanding of how much materials and time it will take to complete your project. Within a week after the consultation we will send you an exact estimate, which will be sent electronically as a text message and email. Once both parties agree to terms, we will schedule your project to begin, typically within 3-4 weeks (could increase during peak times of year).
